Our latest findings have been published in the scientific journal Drones. This paper describes an algorithm to delineate taxus and olive trees and derive structural tree characteristics such as tree height and crown diameter. We also tested various flight characteristics (flight height and degree of image overlap). One of the main conclusions is that these flight characteristics do not have a major impact on the delineation of the trees themselves, but they do affect the computing power required.
